Born and raised in Chesterfield County, I graduated from Clover Hill High School, then attended Longwood College where I was an all-academic tennis player. I began my teaching career at Providence Middle School, teaching 7th grade math. This is my 13th year of teaching, my fourth year in 1st grade. I recently taught 3 years in 4th grade and 6 years in Kindergarten. I graduated from VCU with my masters in Administration and Supervision in 2008. I want to be an administrator in the near future, however, excited about teaching another year at Weaver with both wonderful students and parents! I have been married 13 years to my high school sweetheart and have two wonderful boys, Brayden who will be in 5th grade at Woolridge this year and Brooks will be in 3rd grade! We are huge VIRGINIA TECH HOKIES fans and attend all football games! I enjoy shopping, working out, bike-riding, but most of all watching my boys on the baseball field! I love to go to our river house and enjoying riding our boat and jetski! On the side, I am a Thirty-One Consultant...I enjoy meeting new friends and selling all kinds of bags!
